i have the samsung alias and i like it a lot but the voyager has a touch screen but is really bulky.

the voyager has a touch screen and mobile tv while the alias does not

the alias is way smaller and has the cool dual flip

get the alias only if size is an issue.

both phones are $99.99

samsung has proven to be reliable. LG is relatively untested.

ok...i had the voyager for about three weeks and switched it for the samsung alias because i thought it was too big

Lg Voyager...Good:

1) reliable touchscreen/ the touchscreen is perfect in every way.  It responds SOO fast...for example, if you press the button for the menu, you dont wait for it to come up at all.  It comes up before you even lift your finger. and if you are having trouble with how hard you have to press, you can do the little target thing and it will remember how hard you press

2) strong hindge/ unlike the samsung alias, the lg voyager has a very strong hindge that will not break.

3)great camera/ this camera is 2 mp with autofocus.  

Lg Voyager...Bad:

1) kinda big...but this could be a good thing...you'll notice if it's not in your pocket

2) to listen to music, you have to open the phone....unless you have headphones

3) silver lining and screen will damage if drop [but you can easily avoid this by buying a case, even if it only covers the rim]

Samsung Alias...Good:

1)Small/ it's skinny....and it's not that wide

2) music controls on front

3) the phone is pretty stirdy,,,,unless dropped A LOT

4) dual hindge,,,you get a qwerty board and it still looks small and stylish

Samsung Alias...bad:

1) if you'er doin something while it is flipped one way and you want to do the same thing but opened the other way, the application closes

2) you need to open the phone landscape mode for vcast and all that

3) texting is really hard in portrait mode cuz the print is so small

4) single hindge wiggles slides and squeaks

i personally love the voyager and the samsung alias is ok, but the voyager is much better
