Samsung external drive problem

Question

We installed a samsung external cd/dvd drive when our internal one died and the Itunes won't seem to recognize it. I am a neophyte when it comes to computer issues so tech help needs to be simple. Any help you can offer is appreciatedRichard

desiI did as you asked and I do see DVD Ram Drvie F so it does seemt o recognize the external F drive and the internal E drive is still
