Samsung lcd tv. My new samsung TV is going black for 2-3 seconds while watching, every few hours

My new samsung TV is going black for 2-3 seconds while watching, every few hours usually few times a day, screen just goes black while I still can hear sound regularly. Is that a standard behaviour or it is fault. Would I have send it back to the store?
