Samsung or sony LCD?

Question

Which one is better? since sony is more expensive does the quality differ that much ? (400 $)

Both are good, but I think Sony is better in picture.  Note the glossiness of the glass surface.  Sonys are nice and matte and won't reflect lamps and windows in the screen, but some Samsung surfaces are very glossy.

they are both good tvs...i like both so i would go ahead and buy the samsung because its cheaper and they are basically the same thing...i think with the sony you are just paying for the name so i would get the samsung...hope this helped

sony excels in both picture and sound quality while samsung usually do pretty good in picture quality.

i'm personally a big fan of sony.. so .. yea.
