its not that big of a difference. just some added features. series 5 is better because its cheap. buying series 6 is a DISAPPOINTMENT. its the same

The Samsung series 6 has a superior picture quality. The series 6 also has 4 ms LCD response time (versus 5 ms for the series 5) for better control of motion jitter, 120 Hz operation produces less motion blur and smoother movie playback. But maybe the best feature of the series 6 is its gaming mode. All HDTVs buffer their video. Buffering creates video lag that interferes with real-time gaming. The series 5 will be a disappointment if you do a lot of gaming.
