Samsung touch of color 120 hrtz question. someone help?

why doesnt it run at 120 hrtz even when im watching a blue ray. it says its running at 60 hrtz. why?

  1. It could be because of the frame rate of the blu ray player. Some blu ray players will pass 24 frames per second. At that speed, it should be easier for your panel to go 120hz. 24 should be exactly 1/5th of 120. Check to see if your player is  putting out 24 frames or 60. It could be possible the TV won't support the fastest refresh at one speed or another.

    Check the output of your player, and check the TV. Confirm it supports 120hz and confirm that it happens automatically or manually.

  3. i think there is an option of switching the motion flow(120hz) on and off

    it should be in the settings menu of ur tv
