The Heracles Almelo striker insists that he is ready to take the next step in his career while insisting that a move to reigning Eredivisie champions this summer will benefit him a lot.

The 22-year-old hit-man, who arrived at Polman Stadion in the summer of 2009 after spending one-season at Heerenveen, has thus far represented the Heraclieden in 76 league matches.
The Swedish footballer of Cuban descent has a contract at Polman Stadion that is due to expire in the summer of 2013.
Reports indicate that the Heracles management is keen to prolong his stay in Almelo, and would be offering the youngster a new contract in the coming days.
However, the former Heerenveen ace has made it clear that he wants to move away from his current club this summer for pastures greener.
“I have spent three wonderful years in Almelo, and I open heartedly thank Heracles for giving me the opportunity to play regular football. I am now 22 years old, and have enough experience. I want to develop my skills further”,
Armenteros was quoted as saying to De Telegraaf.
The Swedish starlet then went on to insist that a move to Ajax Amsterdam is a guaranteed step up for him, as they regularly compete for the title and play in the Europe’s primary club competition, UEFA Champions League.
“In my opinion, Ajax is a huge step up for me. They are the Dutch champions, and they play in Champions League. Just like everyone else, I want to reach the top”, Armenteros added.
Reports suggest that Heracles does not intend to sell their star player in the ongoing summer transfer window. However, the 22-year-old striker has insisted that the club should sell him this summer.
“Heracles should know. If they sell me now, they will at least get something. Otherwise, I will be leaving the club next summer for free”, Armenteros concluded.
Reports indicate that an offer in the region of three million Euros would be enough to lure the striker away from Polman Stadion this summer.
