German Chistyakov has denied the rumours linking the Cameroonian striker to host of European clubs this summer
Anzhi Makhachkala striker, Samuel Eto’o, has regularly been linked with a move to a bigger club. Media reports suggest that the Cameroonian star is set to leave the Makhachkala-based club for greener pastures as he is struggling
to rediscover his old form.
If rumours are to be believed, the Cameroonian forward, who moved to the Russian outfit from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan in January for reportedly 28 million Euros, has talked to the management regarding his transfer this summer.
These news emerged on the Russian media after the Dagestani club failed to secure UEFA Champions League qualification this season. And given the fact that Eto’o wants to play in the continental tournament every season makes life
difficult for the Russian outfit to stop the prolific striker.
However, Anzhi’s German Chistyakov has quashed the rumours of the 31-year-old’s possible departure from Makhachkala stadium this summer.
The vice-president has refused to accept the fact that the former Real Madrid man wants to change his current club in search of another challenge after growing increasingly tired of life in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991.
“I can say one thing: Samuel has a valid contract with this club. There are no plans to amend his contract at the moment and we are happy with his progress as a player. Eto’o will train with rest of his team-mates after returning
to Makhachkala following the summer break in the Championship.” The Russian national was quoted as saying.
Speaking on the upcoming summer transfer window, Chistyakov has conceded that the Wild-division is lining up bid for the potential transfer targets. However, he refused to tell the details, revealing that he does not want to disrespect
any club or a player.
“I will not discuss the names, specific names of the potential recruits. Of course, we are discussing all the club's transfer priorities with the head coach of the team. I think every professional club have this philosophy and
it applies to Anzhi as well.” Chistyakov said.
Media reports in Russia suggest that Anzhi are lining up bid for Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436.
