Samurai? Who still thinks they are a Samurai?

This a 2 part question;

(1) According to history the samurai have not existed for over a hundred years but I occasionally see instructors claiming to be samurai. Is there any truth to this? Especially in America...

(2) This guy listed his occupation as samurai.
