Samurai manga forgot the name of it HELP

I remember reading this manga

and it was during the samurai times

some dude sinned so many times during his life time and he couldnt die cause he ate some majical worms or something i cant remember i think an old lady gave it to him so he couldnt die till he made up for all the times he sinned

it starts off something like that

please help before i go insane :D

trillan is right.. it is BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL, its one of the best manga out there (it even won an award). Recently they made an anime adaptation of the manga. Its about this guy (Manji) who has this curse of being an immortal (because of the worms in his body), now he must kill in order to atone for his sins to be able to go back to normal.
