San Antonio, TX trip - what to see / do / eat ?

Question

Looking for suggestions from those who have been to and who live in San Antonio. What should a visitor who has 3-4 days be sure to see / do / eat while in San Antonio, TX? Of course there are the obvious ones (River Walk, Alamo) but what are some other must-sees? Also, any restaurant recommendations would definitely come in handy, as well as any particular dish recommendations. Thanks for your help!

well this kinda has to do with the river walk. i would suggest

do a river boat tour

Caso Rio- most amazing mexican food ever!

if you have kids, go to rain forest cafe- they have these everywhere, but the one on the river walk is 4 stories high and it is really cool for kids and adults too.

the alamo is really cool if you go make sure you go to the bunkards there is alot to see in there.

oh yeah and you have to go to the river walk at night, it is really pretty.

Your best bet  is  the downtown area  our downtown  was practically  made  for tourists   there are the San Antonio missions  and you can  take a  bus from  downtown to   visit the old  missions  that were built  along the  San Antonio river  there is a wikipedia page  below  that will give you the 411 on the missions --and of course you have your theme parks Sea world  and  Six Flags

Here's my favorite restaurant in San Antonio, and the food is far better than any I've had on the River Walk.  The River Walk restaurants can get away with mediocre food because of location, location, location.

The Alamo is only 1 of 5 missions built, so you could go see the others.  They are very interesting.  I've included a site with good tourism information on San Antonio.

go to the chinese graveyard or the haunted railroad tracks, maybe go looking for the donkey lady.
