  1. go see the tree in front of the Alamo and go watch the Posades.

  2. San Antonio a no no.

  3. Well you can go to the river walk they always have millions of Chrismas lights up. You might also like the rain forset cafe. it is supper cool. also there the tower of america. you take a elevator to the top and u can even eat dinner up there. Hope i helped.

  4. If you will be here on the first Friday in December you should definitely check out First Friday.  It exactly fills your description of art, music, and hole-in-the-wall interesting, and is in the Southtown area of downtown.

Artists, craft and jewelry makers, and other vendors set up booths along the streets, there is live music, and several art galleries stay open late.

Eat at either Rosarios (mexican food, margaritas and fun ambience) or the Blue Star Brewery and then follow the crowds and wander through the streets checking everything out!

Here is an article about it:

Even if you won't be here on the first Friday, you still might want to check out the Blue Star Complex - they have an art gallery, brewery, and restaurant and often have live music.
