San Diego Wildlife Park info?

I'm planning to go to the San Diego Wildlife park this month and before i go is there anything i should expect? Also, is it better to go during a weekday or weeknight

The Wild Animal Park is in Escondido, inland portion of North County is San Diego. During this time of year, it can get to be very warm up there (currently not too bad, in the mid 80s). It is a very spread out park, with lots of hills so be prepared for a lot of walking (sometimes it feels like hiking).

Through Sept. 1, WAP is still having Park at Dark, with extended hours until 8pm. It is better to go during the day (feeding times are at 9am and 4-5pm, so the animals will be out). The air is cooler at night, but not all the animals will be visible, and the lighting (or lack thereof) doesn't help either.

And unless your a Zoological Member, the is a charge for parking at WAP (I think it's $6).
