San Francisco Giants confident ahead of next Major League season – MLB News
The San Francisco Giants’ management is taking some drastic steps forward to become competitive in the next Major League Baseball season as every top team will be giving them a tough time especially in the National League.
The entire management is untied on one single factor that the team must be performing with renewed energy next season. The Giants understand that they have to face problems getting along with every player’s different approach towards the game.
Giants' manager Bruce Bochy described in the media with great detail about two to three particular players and how they will be making a positive impact within the franchise next season.
He said, “This year, I do think there are guys in there who will help hold each other more accountable, to do things right, He's not only a catcher who leads the staff, but he's a leader in his own way. Different guys lead vocally or by example, or just by the way you carry yourself.”
Earlier, first baseman Aubrey Huff also stated in the media regarding his own game and his team’s preparations. He said, “Me, for one, I've got to step up, in 2010, it was easy. I didn't have a care in the world. I just played and had fun. No pressure, no expectations. A lot of that had to do with how down and out we were.”
Last season, the Giants were pretty consistent at .531 winning percentage. They lost 76 and won 86 games. Behind the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League West, the Giants had a decent 2011 season with quite ease but are now planning to go even further in 2012.
The late preparations of their roster is also a clear signal to all other competing teams that they are ready and will not be a easy catch for other MLB teams. Seeing the recent history of the franchise, if the Giants clinch a postseason berth, they have the ability to go for in the competition but they usually are beaten early in the regular season. The Giants are looking confident ahead of the upcoming 2012 Major League Baseball regular season, as the team are ready to face any and all challenges ahead.
