The San Francisco Giants’ are showing some enormous amount of compassion towards Buster Posey and on his potential return to Major League Baseball.
During most of the games in Spring Training, fans were happy and appreciated Posey on his late injury and the after effects as well as his potential chance to play once again for the Giants.
He was also touched the way Giants fans acted and appreciated his comeback giving him some morale boosting confidence.
Posey said, “It's one of the coolest experiences I've had in baseball, and I feel really lucky to play in San Francisco, I can't express enough how meaningful it was. It was really special. I think it's over. Time to get going,”
On the other hand some other Giants player are also hoping a great season if things went for them. “Every time I come out to pitch, I feel fans get louder and louder," Brian Wilson said. "I feed off the energy." Later Bumgarner said, "If it was worth it, it’s not up to me."
Posey, having batting average of .294 along with 22 home runs, 88 RBIs and .353 OBP, is certainly a good and an effective player. He has been playing in the Giants roster since 2009 and playing some quality baseball. During his three years stay, Posey has won some deserted awards which also make his position more viable in the team.
Previous to the last season, Posey was part of the team who went on to win the World Series. Along with World Series title, Posey has also won National Rookie of the year award, Players Choice Awards National League Outstanding Rookie, Golden Spikes Award and Johnny Bench Award.
Over the past few years, his game has covered many grounds and he now wanted to play freely. If things went for Posey, then it will be a huge strengthening factor for the Giants to take control of the things early at start of the season and show the other MLB teams that they also come here to win games for themselves as well as for their fans.
