San Francisco Giants pitch well against Colorado Rockies – MLB Update

The San Francisco Giants have entered into its third week of 2012 Major League Baseball season and playing relatively good baseball. With their balanced roster especially pitching rotation, the Giants are playing aggressive and fast.
Last week, against the Colorado Rockies in their three match regular series, the Giants pitched extremely good and won the series 2-1 leaving the Rockies in bitter despair.
The Giants relief pitcher Brian Wilson and Madison Bumgarner are the main driving force of their team at the moment. Both had a very good MLB Spring Training and now feeling quite comfortable playing offensive play for their team in the regular competition.
Recently Brian Wilson stated in the media about his teammate Madison Bumgarner, who pitched extremely well against the game against Rockies on Thursday.
Wilson said. "It's basically a nonfactor, the story today is Bumgarner. He was able to come back and look like the dominating pitcher he is."
Later the Giants manager Bruce Bochy said of Bumgarner, "What a job he did, that’s what we count on, a quality start. As tough as this trip has been with defense and pitching, it’s pretty nice to get the first one out of the way, I'm trying to go out there
and get on a good roll."
Bumgarner went with 10 of his first 16 outs on the ground giving no chance to his opponent batters to hit him freely.
"I just tried to make pitches today instead of trying to strike people out," Bumgarner said for his game.
The Giants outfielder Melky Cabrera is also playing good all round and giving his teammates pitchers a good support which they all are appreciating as well.
The Giants pitcher Angel Pagan said for Cabrera, “He's tough, but today we made the right adjustments, we got him."
In the meanwhile, looking at the recent performances of Giants pitching rotation, everyone in the management is getting to identify the real power their team has in this particular season. While if this strength and power plays of Giants’ pitchers continued
in the upcoming series against the Philadelphia Phillies, the results will soon be placing them in quite comfortable position in the regular season.
