San Francisco Halloween Parties for Oct. 31st 2008?

Are there any major Holloween Parties to attend for Oct. 31 (Friday), 2008? Thank you

Hey -- thnaks for the query. Like last year, there are no parties/events planned for the Castro. But, there will be other events going on around town including kids/family events in Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf and other events South of Market.  The website www.homeforhalloween.com will have a full schedule beginning around the 1st of September. We handled the City's media / public outreach last year, and will be doing so again this year, so don't hesitate to email any other questions you have.

there used to be in the castro but thanks to idiots bringing knives and stabbing people it is no longer happening :-(  i'm not sure of any this year unfortunately

They are attempting to move the Castro Halloween event to China Basin (over by AT&T Park). They have already started planning the event. As Halloween gets closer you'll need to check the Haunted Bay website. They have a huge list of events every year covering the entire Bay Area.
