My husband's birthday is this weekend -we are flying into SF from Houston on Saturday (with 2 little ones - 2 1/2 yrs & 10 months old) - want to take him somewhere cool to eat on Sunday - maybe at a beach or pier? we love all kinds of food - especially seafood. Dont mind the expense of a really nice restaurant, BUT we'll have the kiddos in tow, so looking for a fave of the locals that is not too dressy and is OK for kids to be there. Dont mind driving to Sausalito...or anywhere nearby. thanks!!

  1. the old cllamhouse on bayshore is great for families

  2. Scoma's. Pier 47. It is family place. So kids/mess is a-okay.

  3. The Rainforest Cafe is really good, im pretty sure it has seafood so...but its completely decorated with trees and animal that move. your kids will go crazy for it and its not dressy for clothes. but its not a kiddy resturant so you wont feel out of place to go there for your husbands bday. highly recomended...im pretty sure its by pier 31 in san francisco, i know its right by the pier and in the thirties so ya...hope you like it!

  4. Any thing in Fishermans wahrf

  5. Fisherman Wharf- It's a very popular pier and tourist attraction in SF. Your kids will love it too, from there you can go anywhere in the heart of SF.

  6. i second scoma's. Here's all the info you need:

try the pacific snapper or lazy man's cioppino.

hope you have a great celebration!

  7. Scoma's is definately a great place to go. Also, if you're down by Fisherman's Wharf, you might wanna stop by Bubba Gump's on Pier 39. I loved that place when I was a kid, mostly because I got to flip that sign that says "Run Forest, Run" when we didn't need help and "Stop Forest, Stop!" if we needed help.
