San Francisco temperature?

Question

Hi, what is the average temperature in Frisco mid-September?

I'm bald on top, would be advisable to wear head wear

is it chilly in the evening?

for SEPT. the avg temp is 56-71, avg precipitation is .025, it is the warmest month . . . You might want a knit cap and a light jacket just in case . . . .

In mid September the normal daily Lo-Hi will be 55-70F, sunny and without rain or fog.  However, this is the warmest month of the year and there is sometimes an Indian Summer heat wave that can boost temperatures a little over 100F.   Conversely, really cold weather would be in the high 40s.

The average temperature in September in SF is 64.5 degrees F.  It does not get to freezing, but it can be quite chilly, especially if you're on the bay, due to wind chill.  You'd do well to bring a windbreaker, a warm sweater, and possibly a hat.  The fog comes in at night and doesn't dissipate until late morning.

From what I remember, mid-September is the start of the hot season in The City. Until the end of October. And it would get HOT!!

The rest of the year, it's mild to very cool.
