San Jose to Jaco?

We are looking for the fastest way to get there. I noticed we could take a flight from San Jose to Tambor. From Tambor is there a ferry or boat that could directly take us to Jaco or a nearby city?

Other than renting a helicopter, take a taxi. By the time you rent the car you might as well have just taken a bus. A taxi may cost you 75$ but might go for $50 if you can negotiate (in Spanish, preferably).

No no no, that would take u longer, the best way is rent a car and go straight from San Jose to Jaco, it's like 2 hours...Tambor is in the other direction basically

the bus takes you 3 hours and the trip you are talking about takes you about 4 hours ....if you are renting a car it takes you 2 hours and just take the aguacate road and is a piece of cake ....I hope you enjoy it and have lots of fun ....we just retired and we live in Herradura about 6 miles from Jaco and we love it
