Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 goalkeeper, Cesar Sanchez, has hailed the new Real Madrid signing, Luka Modric, stating that he is a great signing for Los Blancos.
One of the longest transfer sagas of this summer transfer window came to an end when Real Madrid were finally able to sign the Tottenham Hotspur star, Luka Modric.
The Spanish giants wanted to lure the midfielder during this summer transfer window, but the price tag attached to the player was quite high and Madrid found it hard to pay it off.
However, Los Blancos were finally able to pay for the Croatian midfielder, and it was decided that the Spanish champions will pay a sum of 35 million Euros, along with 7 million Euros in variable, to the North London club.
With Luka Modric signing for the Spanish champions, it means that they are stronger than they were before.
Mourinho needed to add another midfielder to his ranks, especially with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ricardo-c30950 Kaka is also planning to move away from the Spanish capital, and that the Portuguese mentor did not want to take any
risk.
Many have hailed Real Madrid’s latest signing, as experts believe that Modric might be the missing piece of the puzzle of Los Blancos, as he is an extraordinary midfielder.
The most recent person who praised the newly signed Real Madrid star is the former Valencia star, Cesar Sanchez, who thinks that Modric can add a lot to Jose Mourinho’s plans.
While speaking about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857, Cesar Sanchez said:
“He does not play like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Xabi-Alonso-c37045 or Mesut Ozil.”
“He may be small, but physically he is very strong and has many attributes.
“It is a great signing, you'll see.”
Real Madrid haven’t really taken a good start in the Spanish La Liga, as they have only managed to take one out of the available six points.
However, many believe that Modric might be the missing link between the Spanish champions and silverware; therefore, his signing has made Real Madrid favourites to not only win the Spanish La Liga, but also other major competitions such as the UEFA Champions
League and the Copa del Rey.
