Sand Bath For Dwarf Hamsters?

Hey I live in El Salvador and i havevisited a lot of pet stores and they dont sell sand for hamster or any sand, can i use the sand that cat uses for bathing? or something that i can mak in home with some materials that i can find everywere like playground sand... but my playground sand is artificial and grey....

Hi,

Don't use cat sand, playground sand, ocean/lake sand, etc. Hamster sand is refined, cleaned, etc. just for hamsters.

Hamsters bathe themselves, like cats do, but if your hamster looks dirty you can take a ringed out paper towel and gently rub. But don't get the hamster too wet or he could get sick.
