Sand Dollars - Location?

Question

Which state in the US is known for having a large abundance of sand dollars? Is there one state that tends to see a far greater population than another coastal state? Or is one state KNOWN for having sand dollars?

I live in Alaska, on an island. There is only one beach where i have found sand dollars. So i am assuming they like certain places, I am just not sure where.

i don't know, but i live on the jersey shore and i see them laying on the beach all the time. you could try here.
