Sand Save?

On a Par 3: If I hit from the tee box and land in sand bunker, and then sand save in one stroke and sink it in one putt on the green does that equal 3 strokes or do I take a penalty for landing in the bunker?

Is it 3 or 4 strokes?

There's no penalty for landing in a sand trap. At all. Ever.

What led you to believe that you get a penalty for a sand shot?

It's 3 strokes. Tee shot, bunker shot, one-putt to save par.
