  1. These adorable and very shy little snakes like to hide and will stay burrowed in their substrate until you 'fish them out' to handle.  They make an excellent pet for someone with very limited space, as they won't require a large tank when grown.

Google them, and learn all the reptile's needs BEFORE you get it.  You'll need the right tank, UTH heat pad, substrate (never use play sand), a water bowl, lights, etc.  And a good digital prob themometer to measure the heat on the floor over the pad where the snake will spend much of its time.

You can request your reptile supplier/shop in the area to order one in for you, if it is not an item they normally stock, or you can google them, and order one on line.  Just be sure it's a reputable breeder who offers a guarantee.

I hope this has been of help, and enjoy your new pet!
