Sandals Royal Caribbean or Negril?

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to either Royal Caribbean or Negril (Sandals) in July of this year. We are looking for a relaxing place but with available activities when we're feeling active. Not too crowded, great beach, nice hotel rooms. I've researched both and they both seem great. Has anyone been to both and could you please tell me which you preferred, the differences and why? Thank you in advance!

We've never been to Royal Caribbean, but go to Sandals Negril often.  I would certainly recommend it to anyone and always do.  Beautiful beach, lots of water sports, great food, drink and staff.  Have you checked out the tripadvisor.com site?  There's lots of info there from many people who have been.  Hope you have a wonderful trip.
