  1. yea it is technically illegal to buy that stuff in jamaica but the police there will not bother you unless you buy really large amounts and they actually see you make the transaction. you can buy and use it in jamaica but i reccomend that you do not take any back to the states with you.-

  2. no i dont think its illegal for them to sell their stuff...atleast i've never heard of the police bothering tourists for buying it anyway

don't know anything about the price tho

its what they do to make money so...thats that i guess ^_^

    hope this helped

  3. no they are cool with it

  4. Yes, I have bought a sarong and a necklace. It's completely legal, and Jamaica is the worst place for panhandling

  5. We stayed at Sandal's Ocho Rios. No one came up in boats....BUT....I saw the staff smoking some w/ the other guests.

I am assuming its not frowned upon unless you are buying a pound of it. something that obvious may bring attention to yourself. I wouldn't recommend bringing any back....sorry been watching to much of "locked up abroad" on NAT GEO...SCARY
