Sandals vs. Couples....

Question

My fiance and I are trying to plan our honeymoon in Jamaica. We definitely want all-inclusive, and we were thinking of staying in Negril.... I'm just curious, does anyone have an opinion on which is better - Sandals Negril or Couples Negril?

My husband and I spend our honeymoon in Negril,Jamaica.  It was so fantastic.  It's very romantic there, private, food is great, etc.  I would go back there.  It was the Sandals resort.  We took excursions to Ricks's Cafe and shopping while we were there.  Those were fun.  Just be careful when you go off the resort.  Yes, the people are poor there.  If you go shopping they will bug you to death to buy their products...just keep walking....the price of the item will come down!  It's not bad around Negril.  Just don't go to the big cities like Kingston.  Hope you have a wonderful honeymoon.  We sure did!

Actually Hedonism is the best all inclusive in Jamaica with poolside swim-up rooms and great deals for honeymoons and the atmosphere is very laid back for kissy/huggy lovers.As a Travel Professional I wouldn't send my Honeymooners anywhere else.

I haven't been there yet, but I'm going in December. I did a lot of research, read 1000 reviews...From what I read, Couples Negril has the best service, best food and all-inclusive package from all the Adults Only All-Inclusive resorts.

Hedonism can be a little creepy, with old fat guys walking around...That's what I heard, never been there.

Couples Negril has tons of activities included, breakfast in bed, beach service, a beach grill...I got the best deal on Orbitz, and I tried at least 5 other sites. 5 nights at garden view room for 2500 including airfare.

We wen't to Couples but our wedding video was stolen and so was my perfume and lotion from my bags. I think it might be poor there or something. It wasn't a very clean place to go. You definately don't want to get off of the resort or they will hound you for money and to buy trinkets. I will never go there again. Any taxi from the airport that you get in has drivers that drive like they just got their license.I haven't been to very many places out of the country but if you guys could go to Cancun Mexico, that would be the deal. That place has plenty of things to do and the people there were great, it's a whole h**l of a lot cleaner there too.

I used to be a flight attendant and have stayed at Sandals locations and I LOVE them.  Actually, my husband and I are goingto the Sandals Royal Carribbean in Montego Bay next Friday for our honeymoon/first anniversary.  I definately would stick to Sandals.

I would also definatley stay away from Hedinisum, I don't think walking around with your new husband looking at naked woman oozes with romance.  (Unless your into that kind of thing! LOL!)
