Sandblasting golf clubs?

do you need to remove the head to sandblast it?

please also give some details on the process.

  2. you do not need to remove the shaft unless you are sandblasting the heads in a small chamber, if your blasting them outside, you can just use sandblast mask to cover the lower part of the shaft and the parts of the head you do not want to blast, I am assuming that you are sandblasting the face of the club, it is as easy as spray painting once you have the club masked, just make sure not to get close that 2 feet to the surface, and use a wide even spray. once your done
    you can just peel all the mask off and get the grooves recut.
