Sandols Caracol Beach And Spa- Mayan Riviera?

Anyone been? I am going on march 15th! What should I expect?

Great weather sandy beaches, just before hurricane season, so it's great. Kind of hot/humid but really great.

Went this time last year. Good points: the hotel, weather and people were absolutely brilliant. Food-amazing choice and good quality. Beach was lovely, no problem with sunbeds. Bad points: 10 hour flight with the full sun on our side (might be worth checking about this when you check in to your seats if you are flying during the day), mosquitos, sea a bit rough on most days, and when it rains, boy, does it rain! We were on ground floor and got flooded twice. Also there were quite a few canadians who liked to drink a lot and just stand around in groups in the pools. Leave a dollar tip on your pillow every day and you'll get good service. Take extra money for spa treatments if you're into that sort of thing, it'll be worth it. Save weight in your luggage, don't take towels, they provide all you need-in the rooms and for the beach/pool. Above all, enjoy. I'm dead jealous and can't wait to go back.
