The 41-year-old tactician led Barcelona on the Camp Nou for the final time and received a standing ovation from the supporters.

Response of La Blaugrana faithful left president Sandro Rosell in high spirits, who praised them for their response after the match. He stated that he was at loss for words to describe the feeling and added that no one can ask more from.

Continuing on the topic, he added that Barcelona are undergoing a period of supremacy and have learned to go through the good times and the bad with the greatest of character displays.
Rosell commented that La Blaugrana know how to celebrate their heroes and gave a good exhibition of it as they bid their farewell to Guardiola. He added that Barcelona have evolved as a club and so have the supporters.
“We’re in an era where Barça have learned to win and lose, where we also pay homage to our heroes.”
“It’s important that our heroes can leave through the front door. We’ve matured as a Club and as supporters.”
The former marketing executive did not shy away from voicing his belief that Guardiola will be back in the midst of action for the Catalan club as he is much revered in the hearts of Les Cules.
Rosell reckoned that the door is always open for the 41-year-old tactician and nothing will make him more proud than to welcome him back.
“He’ll come back through the front door.”
“Everyone loves Pep and we all want him to return.”
“He left through the front door and he’ll come back through the front door. When he wants. In these moments, I’m proud to be FC Barcelona’s president."
