"We have to go about these things with prudence and secrecy, because if we don't the price of the player goes up and that hurts Barcelona."
While responding to questions about the Catalan club’s transfer policy, Rosella revealed that they have set aside 40 million Euros for player acquisitions and the finances will continue accumulate depending on their activity in the market.
Elaborating on the subject, he analogized that if they spend 10 million Euros in summer they will have an additional 30 million Euros the next year.
"The average amount of money spent on new signings over the next few years needs to be €40m a year. If we sign a player for €10m, we'll have €30m extra to spend next year, or vice versa."
