The defensive midfielder was full of praise for Bale, and said that he is ‘good enough to play for Brazil’. Sandro hailed Bale as one of the world’s best players and paid tribute to his qualities.
Bale rounded off a good Christmas for Tottenham Hotspur when he dazzled and impressed in the 0-4 win over Aston Villa on Boxing Day. The Welshman scored his first Premier League hat-trick as he rounded off the 3 points for manager Andre Villas-Boas.
The 23-year old Welsh starlet was the talk of newspapers and pundits after his immense performance at Villa Park. He earned plaudits from several journalists and experts, as well as Villas-Boas and other managers in the English top flight.
Tottenham had endured a frustrating first half against the Villans and were unable to break the deadlock as they saw out a 0-0 first half. After the interval, Spurs began to press more and Bale was involved in every attack.
