Santana or Halladay?

Trade i was offered?

I get Roy Halladay

i give Johan Santana

the pitching catagories are

W,L,CG,SHO,K,SV,ERA,WHIP, SV %

i would think reject, but since CG and SHO are in it, i am very hesistant but still thinking reject.....what do you think??

Overall, Santana is a better pitcher. But looking at the stats, I would rather have Halladay.

Halladay can get you a good W-L record, CG and SHO. Plus CG and SHO normally lead to good ERA and WHIP.

But I hope you have a good Ks guy on your team because I wouldn't rely on Halladay for that. Maybe get Jonathan Sanchez if you don't have a Ks guy on your team.

Conclusion: Reject the trade. And if you don't have a Ks guy, get one.

I am a huge Santana fan, BUT because CG's and SHO's are involved, I would have to sway with what I thing your opinion is and choose Roy Halladay.  He easily has the advantage in these stat categories this season..  He has even lost 2-3 games this season while still pitching that Complete Game!

If it weren't for "Complete Games," I would still take my chances with Santana...
