Santorini, Greece? Does anyone know what it's like? Is it worth going there?

I want to know how much it would be to go to santorini greece from muskegon or grand rapids MI. And has anyone ever been there? Should I go when I get enough money? And I know their money is euro, how does that compare to american money?

it's fine , some greek are ok but some of them are ( not saying)

It's very very expensive ( this summer the prices were 30% more then Moscow and you know Moscow is the most expensive city in the world)

so you should go but take a lot A LOT  $$$$$$$$ with you

I have a long time friend that stayed 2 weeks in Santorini and said it was awesome. The pics he showed me looked like those perfect setting post cards!

I also have a Greek friend and when I asked her about it she agreed it is a beautiful place to live or visit.

I have gone to Santorini only once and i can't wait to go back.

Santorini is like a dream when you get there you don't believe your eyes,how is it possible so much beauty in such small island.

The pictures don't do justice to the island.

The euro is expensive at the moment and every one thinks Greece is expensive but i think that is at par with other European countries or maybe a little more expensive.

But here is my thought on the matter, if you can afford to drive a BMW you don't worry about gas prices,so if you can afford to go so far,go when you are ready and don't worry about the price of coffee.

1 Euro=1.60 dollar You will never regret going to Santorini.

i went to santorini back when i was 13 (im 19 now)... and its beautiful, definitely the most picturesque place ive ever been. its very quiet and peaceful though, there are bars and tavernas but in terms of nightclubs, you'll be going to the wrong place. sorry i cant answer any of your other questions! x
