Arsenal full back, Andre Santos has once again gone on to state that he is looking to stay at the Emirates, despite all the interest from foreign clubs who are contemplating making a move for the defender.
Santos went on to make his way to the North London club in 2011, after he was signed from Fenerbahce. After having a very successful run with the Turkish club, it was felt that he was the player who could add some stability in the Gunners back line.
However, with the twenty nine year old failing to make his mark on the team, he was turned into a back up player at the club.
As a result, Galatasaray went on hint that they could be interested in landing the player, considering his current situation at the club.

"I had people asking me on Twitter and even players from Fenerbahce asking if it was true, but I am very happy here at Arsenal and I hope to stay here at Arsenal for a long time.”
"I have a contract and I am very happy here, not only at Arsenal but in London too, it is a great city. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 fans are amazing, this is a great club, and I hope to stay here for a good while.”
The player admitted that he wasn’t very happy with the fact that he was no longer a first team player at the club, but felt that he was going to do his best to change all of that.
Having lost his spot in the Arsenal squad, and being dropped from the Brazilian national team hasn’t settled too well with the player.
Nonetheless, instead of reacting in a negative manner the player is now looking to compete with his competitors, as he hopes to beat them to the punch and claim the starting spot in the first eleven for himself.
