Brazilian outfit, Santos, have denied Barcelona being given preference over other clubs in signing Neymar...
Santos denied any rumours surrounding http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 having a first-refusal option on Neymar.
The Brazilian club has made a statement calling reports about Barcelona’s first-refusal option to be false. They hinted that Neymar could be acquired by any club which is willing to pay the desired transfer amount for the highly talented
youngster.
Neymar is considered to be one of the most talented young footballers in the modern game. He has proved himself as an outstanding footballer, and he has done it not only with his club, but also wearing the colours of his national team.
He rose to prominence as a very gifted striker only at the age of 19.
Given Neymar’s abilities and skills on the ball, he is definitely one of the most promising players of this era. He has been endowed with a great touch and has magnificent finishing capabilities.
According to several reports from different media sources across Europe, a number of clubs have attempted to acquire the signature of the Selecao player.

According to reports, the interested clubs include Real Madrid, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and Barcelona.
Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona, were the reported clubs that had demonstrated a great amount of intent to add the Brazilian international to their squad. 
However, an agreement with either club was not reached and Neymar signed a contract extension with Santos which will keep him at the club until 2014.
Interestingly, recent reports have suggested that Barcelona have signed a first-refusal for Neymar. This agreement would provide the Catalans priority over other clubs, should Santos choose to make him available for transfer in the future.
Conversely, the Brazilian club have completely refuted any such rumours, claiming that an additional payment would be necessary if any such clause was made.
According to the club’s official website, Santos stated:
"Santos FC communicates that reports, claiming Barcelona from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 would have guaranteed priority in the event of any future sale of the rights of the athlete Neymar, are completely unfounded, untrue and unrealistic, and that a payment
will be needed for such a privilege to be obtained.”

"As announced on November 9th this year, the athlete http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532,
​​and includes no rights of first-refusal to other clubs interested in his services.” 
The Brazilian outfit have set a mindboggling 50 million pound price tag on the 19-year-old striker.
