Santos forward Neymar does not want to get caught in a Barcelona – Real Madrid war
Brazilian striking sensation and Santos forward, Neymar has gone on to state that he does not wish to be caught in between a Barcelona – Real Madrid war.
The striker is being pursued by both the La Liga sides and is well aware of the fact that the two teams possess a very fierce rivalry.
Real Madrid were trying to land the player in the summers, but that move failed to go through as the forward decided to stick around with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532 for a little longer. On the other hand, there was a rumour floating about, which suggested that Neymar had agreed a deal with Barcelona, which would see him join the Catalans in 2013.
These rumours were later denied by the striker, but added fuel to the fire that has been building up between Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, ever since the two clubs were created.
When talking about the prospect of joining Madrid or Barcelona, Neymar is quoted to have said: "I am pleased that two of the biggest clubs are interested in signing me, but I don't want to get involved in a war between Barcelona and Madrid"
He then went on to play the smart card and stated that he wasn’t going to state anything about his future, as it could be misinterpreted in any way that the media wanted it to.

"Everything that I say can be misinterpreted, so what can I say about it? I don't want to offend anyone.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Neymar-c27639 then ended by clarifying that he wasn’t going to be leaving Santos until after the club world cup, which is going to be taking place in December this year.
The striker then ended by stating:
"The only thing that I can say is that anything won't happen until after the Club World Cup in December."
Despite the player making those comments, what he has gone on to confirm, is that he could be on the move in the January transfer window and with a number of teams looking to land him, it is still anybody’s guess as to where he would end up.
