Santos and Brazilian teenage striking sensation, Neymar has gone on to state that it would be a dream-come-true scenario for him to play for Chelsea.
The striker made these comments shortly after scoring both the goals for the Brazilian senior squad, in a game against Scotland; the Brazilians won by two goals to nil.
The player went on to state, “Chelsea's a great club. It's a dream of every player to play at Chelsea. If one day it happens, I will be very happy to come.”
Chelsea currently have the likes of Alex, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Luiz-c10542 playing for them. This means that if the player does finally end up making the move to Stamford Bridge, he wouldn’t find it hard adjusting to the squad since his International teammates would be there to guide him.
The player then went on to add that if the time came for him to decide his future, he would have to talk it out with his family. The Brazilian then went on to add, “When the moment comes we are going to sit with my family. We are going to think about it and discuss the options”
It’s funny how the player has turned his mind around so quickly about playing for the Blues. The player was presented with the opportunity to play for Chelsea last summer, but decided that it would be better for him to stay at the club.
“Last year, when Chelsea came, we sat together and we thought it wasn't the time yet,” added Neymar, when talking on that matter.
Nonetheless, the player now feels he is ready to go ahead and join the Blues. One needs to assess and see what changes the player has gone through over the course of one season though, to re-think his future. Neymar has been scoring goals for fun, just like he was doing before and has been impressing with the national team once again, so technically not much has changed for the player on a personal level.
This just means that perhaps the player has actually taken time to settle down a little and not let all the fame get to his head. Which when thought about, might have been the smartest thing for the player to do.
Chelsea at the same time would be happy to hear these comments from the player, since their ageing strike-force could really use a fresh 19-year-old.
