Santos midfielder Ganso eyeing A.C Milan move and dreaming to beat Barcelona in the Club World Cup
Santos playmaker, Ganso, has revealed his desire to join the Italian Champions, A.C Milan, in the January transfer window of 2011/12 season.
Ganso is linked with a move to several top European clubs, including Real Madrid, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and Juventus. However, a move to Rossoneri is the one which fascinates the Brazilian international the most.
The 21-year-old emerged from the youth ranks of Brazilian outfit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532, in 2008 and has slowly established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the game. Ganso wants to make an impact similar to his compatriot, Kaka,
who is a legendary figure at the San Siro.
Many pundits across Europe have likened Ganso’s playing style to Kaka and the club has slapped a hefty price tag on him. However, due to constant injury problems of late, the interest of clubs in the player has cooled down in the
summer transfer window and Milan too are looking elsewhere.
Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has revealed that the Rossoneri will dip in the transfer market for a left sided midfielder only, so a move for the Brazilian looks highly unlikely.
Ganso played a huge role in guiding his club to win the Copa Libertadores, which is Champions League equivalent for South American clubs. The attacker is delighted to have won the competition and he now dreams to beat Lionel Messi’s
Barcelona in the FIFA Club World Cup before moving to Milan in the winter transfer window.
Talking to the reporters Ganso said, “My dream is to beat Lionel Messi’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the Club World Cup and then move to Milan in January,”
His impressive performances for the club have also earned him a national team cap, when he made his debut against USA in an international friendly in August 2010.
