Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro warned the club’s star forward Neymar against a move to the English Premier League. The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to English Premier League defending Champions Chelsea since last season, but recently revealed
his desire to join the London side in the upcoming summer transfer window, if possible.

However, he felt Neymar would develop more if he chose to stay at Santos and more specifically in Brazil.
He continued, “We have demonstrated that, as he has developed into a player who represents the best of Brazilian football he is going to become a key figure in the history of Brazilian football. He is going to gain international recognition and maybe get
chosen as the best player in the world, playing in Brazil. This is something that hasn't happened since Pele's day and he has a golden chance.”
