Santos sensation Neymar snubs Chelsea yet again
Brazil international Neymar has ruled out a transfer to Premier League giants, Chelsea FC, in the immediate future by pledging his allegiance to current employers, Santos.
Neymar, who is widely considered to be the next big thing for the Brazil International team, caught the attention of a much wider audience during his first foray in Europe last weekend. The youngster scored both of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858’s goals to help his side triumph
2-0 against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scotland-c756 in their International friendly match at the Emirates Stadium.
After the match, the striker had hinted at a possible move to Premier League champions Chelsea, saying, “Chelsea is a great club. It's a dream of every player to play at Chelsea. If one day it happens, I will be very happy to come. When the moment comes
(when Chelsea offer a deal) we are going to sit with my family and discuss the options.”
However, Neymar has now made a U-turn from his previous comments, claiming that he would like to remain with Brazilian side Santos for as long as the club is willing to have him.
The striker pledged his future to Santos, saying, “I still have no desire to play in Europe. I am happy in Brazil and at Santos. I want to stay here for a long time. My only real happiness is in Brazil and proposals from clubs are not enough to get me to
move."
This is the second time Neymar has turned down an approach from Chelsea in order to remain with Santos. The Blues had already tried to sign the youngster last summer, but they got the same response that time as well.
Santos president, Luis http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-c5280 Ribeiro de Oliveira, seems to have a hand in Neymar’s recent change of heart. Oliveira told the striker that he would be unable to cope with the fast paced and physical nature of the Premier League, warning him that he would
