Santos striker Neymar’s agent denies Chelsea link

The Blues have been eyeing the Brazilian forward for quite some time now, having a bid rejected for him last summer.

Ribeiro said while speaking to reporters:
“In August Santos refused a proposal of €35 million, how is that Roman Abramovich would now offer €26 million? It makes no sense and makes me laugh.”
A source close to the Premier League club had revealed that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was prepared to personally ensure that Neymar signed for the Blues in the summer.
The Russian billionaire reportedly gave the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 management the go ahead to spend however much necessary to lure the youngster to Stamford Bridge.
According to reports, the Blues were willing to offer €26 million for the 19-year-old striker this time around.
