Santos, who travelled to Arsenal from Turkey in 2011 has been used more as a backup player, as opposed to him becoming a first team player at the Emirates.
He tends to get a few games here and there, but only when the first choice players are injured, or fatigued. However, so far, this hasn’t proven to be a problem for the player.
This season, Santos has make only two appearances in the Premier League, which makes his total tally of appearances for Arsenal come to seventeen.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kieran-Gibbs-c20945 has looked to be a completely new and improved player this season, which has caused many to question the future that the Brazilian has at the Emirates.
When talking about the issue at hand, Santos stated that before he made any decision in regards to his future, he would fist consider the implications it would have on his family, since that is now his priority.
When talking about his plans for the future and just what he thinks he might need to do, the Arsenal player took to his Twitter account and went on to state: "I would like to state clearly that I have a lot of respect for Fenerbache, and I love Istanbul…but
for now I am a Gunner"
"For now, I have not received an offer from a Turkish team. However, if I receive an offer one day, thinking what is best for my family, I will make a decision."
Arsene Wenger has not yet made any comments about the player and his future at the Emirates, but he is bound to shed some light on the situation in the near future.
At the moment Arsenal don’t have a third choice left back, which is why the team might opt to keep a hold of Santos till another player is brought in to replace him.
