Sanyo Microwave stopped working

Question

I'm not sure how old this Sanyo Shockwave model is, it's an EM-F541.
About a week ago this microwave worked but it didn't stop when you opened the door. A little scary. We unplugged it to get our food.out. Not sticking my hand in there. Now there is power to the machine and if you set it for one minute. The timer will count down but there are no waves moving around. Is my microwave dead??????
