Sanyo VM-RZ2R camcorder cassette not releasing

Thanks Pyrhyc for your response. I can't see any gearing damaged. I suspect the pin you refer to is not moving, however, I can't locate the small plastic pin. Can you give me any further hints as to the position of this pin on this model ? Thanks very much.
