Sanyo microwave fuse blowing -drawing too much...

Question

I dont have any lit. on the machine and cant locate any model number.!!! The machine quit working I was told. Found a blown fuse. Did not have any replacement so I fitted a thin wire. The machine seemed to work. It had nothing in. As I watched the wire became red hot. Before it blew the circuit breaker of the main board disconnected. Several tries gave the same result. I have another magnetron and transformer. They all give the same ohm readings. Seems unlikely all units would be faulty. The turntable motor functions normally as does the cooling fan-no shorts detected. Dont know how to check the capacitor
