Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez a very troublesome player
Sao Paulo’s Coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emerson-c12442 Leao has gone ahead and brushed away any rumours that may have linked Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez with a move to the club, as he labelled Tevez as a troublesome player, with numerous problems.
The striker is currently being rumoured to be on his way out of the club and the likes of Corinthians, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan are being hailed as the favourites to land the player. However, it seems like Sao Paulo might have also been slightly
interested in signing the player previously, but the way he has behaved with his club lately, it seems like the team now has other ideas.
Leao is not new to the whole Tevez controversies, since both of them were previously involved in a different story back when Tevez left Corinthians. While leaving, the forward went on to blame Leao for his exit and stated that had it not been for him, he
would have stayed at the club.
Leao, when finally asked about the value of Tevez, he went on to respond by stating that he was worth around sixteen million pounds as a player, but not as a man.
"As an athlete, yes. As a man, no.”
"As a player, any coach would approve spending that sum for him. But he has been making it hard for coaches to want him. It has happened at several clubs, including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855."
Leao then went on to clear his name, as he went on to confirm that he did not want Tevez to leave the team, but it was in fact his personal decision to leave the team.
"Do not put responsibility for that on my shoulders," he added. "Long before I arrived at Corinthians, it was said that Tevez wanted to be sold.”
"I was not the one who brought anything new about that player."
Tevez is currently being eyed up by a number of teams and is more than likely to be on his way out of City by January. However, what can be said assuredly, is the fact that now one is now going to blame Leao for Tevez’s exit from Corinthians.
