I cannot figure out how Sara is pro-life, but is a member of the NRA....can this make any sense to anyone?

  1. Gun rights are for protection- and a part of our constitution.  As for Sarah's daughter, you say there must have been some discussion about an abortion.  Maybe you don't understand that when you are Pro-Life that it isn't an option to kill your own child.

Pretty sad when you think about it- you are against our constitution -but for killing babies.

  2. well I'm pro choice and it's her choice and I'm happy for her

  3. Seems like a real contradiction there!

Then again, republicans are frequently hypocrites, so I'm not surprised.

  4. Your comparison has nothing to do with each other.

If you would have said she's pro-life and pro death penalty, then your argument could carry more weight.

  5. No discussion as neither Edwards, Clinton or Kennedy are the father.

  6. You are intellectually confused.

The family is pro-life on a philosophical basis.  The option of abortion would make as much sense as a big juicy steak to a vegan.  Not.

You obviously have mistaken notions about the NRA as well.

They have many members who are neither hunters nor gun owners.

They simply care about the Constitutional right to bear arms, recently affirmed by the US Supreme Court.

The NRA is vigilant about constant attempts by State and local governments and well as the Federal government itself to encroach on this basic right of all Americans.

It is essential to our security and liberty.

You may never wish to own a gun but they protect this constitutional right on your behalf.

  7. Must there?

Well, when Palin's daughter was 14, Palin said she'd oppose her daughter having an abortion if she were raped.

"I'd choose life," she said, a strange thing to say if you do not happen to be the pregnant one.

Beyond that, I'm not speculating; however, I dislike the idea of controlling the body of a 14-year-old who's pregnant from a rape.

  8. A pro-life person cannot justify being part of the NRA? Please explain.

While on that note, go ahead and justify to me how a pro-choice person can be anti-death penalty.

Not everyone tries to weasel their way out of their responsibilities. I commend Bristol Palin for making a choice. The RIGHT choice.

  9. I don't see how any of your post makes sense - what does abortion have to do with the NRA?

And I don't see any reason to be discussing a family's personal matters.

  10. Ask a meaningful question, a*****e

  11. It's my understanding that everyone but the proud pappy wants an abortion - STAT!

  12. how is being in the NRA and being pro-life, even related?  Those two have nothing to do with each other.

  13. Sarah Palin and her family are pro-choice. They are choosing to keep the baby. Somehow pro-choice always assumes abortion is the answer.

  14. it makes sense to me

Are you saying all gun owners are anti life?

And why did their have to be discussion of an abortion?

  15. I'm pro-life and a firm believer in our Constitutional 2nd Amendment right.  I too am a member of the NRA.  There is no conflict.  If there was, the Founding Fathers who were mainly Christians, would have never recognized self defense as a God given right.

  16. Her daughter is no abortion wussy. She's having the baby.

  17. makes sense to me. you dont know the diff between a human and a moose.

  18. Is she going to perform an abortion by shooting her grandchild in the womb?

I don't get what you're trying to say... there is no "right to have to kill someone"... it would be a right, not a requirement. And to kill someone? Not exactly on par with constitutional rights. Well, I guess my answer would be that most people don't use their guns to kill people, and if they did, they meet dire consequences. There's only one result in mind with abortion and it's nothing to do with recreation.
