  1. High risk. It's no different than Walter Mondale picking Geraldine, the lady senator to be VP in 1984. You know what happened

  2. Yes it was. I'm an independent.

  3. The democrats can now say that McCain has bad judgment and also he puts his interest first before the United States. He should have picked somebody with a strong resume and went after Obama's weak resume. By picking Palin he is just showig that he is desperate and I think most Americans believe this is just a political move. Palin was a mayor of a city of 9,800 for eight years and governor of Alaska for less than two and if something should happen to McCian this is the person that will take over. Barrack does not have much experience but he shows good judgment by chosing Biden who is known worldwide and has a great resume. McCain is desperate and the world knows it.

  4. A very good move.  The fact that the MSM and liberals don't know anything about her is meaningless.  They keep trying to spin the Palin selection as a move on Hillary's voters.  It's not.  Palin's not going to be used to troll through the fashionable neighborhoods of Manhattan looking for votes.  She's going to spend the next couple months LIVING in the small towns and mid sized cities of North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and possibly New Hampshire.  She'll turn out the conservative base in droves.

    I'm a Libertarian.

  5. I'm left (independent) and I would NOT vote for her.

Sarah Palin is a liar. She lied about her son and she lied about  her trooper brother in law.

So then what will she lie about to the government?

She sunds like a female version of McCain, Cheney and Bush to me.

    Go OBAMA.

  6. John McCain thinks it was a good move

  7. I think it is a very stupid move.  This woman is a mother of 5 and one of them has down syndrome(before you call me any names, please think about how much work it actually will take for any mother to take care of an infant who has down syndrome)in any realistic sense is she going to completely focus on the grueling campaign while being a mother? Leave it to the father or the baby sitter? Come on, let's be real here.

I agree with Jim T very much.  McCain picked this former beauty queen with his personal gain in the election in mind.

  8. Good move on McCains part to sway women voters but she's a nobody really. She also participated in ripping off American tax dollars for the " Bridge to nowhere ". She never gives a firm stance on issues either. She's very effective in avoidance.

  9. repb. great move as u will see
